Christoph,
We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to review all
reported bugs in a timely manner. You reported this bug some time ago
and there have been many changes in Ubuntu and Thunderbird since that
time.
The upstream bugs reports were closed some time ago as the problem could
not be reproduced.
Do you still see a problem related to the one that you reported in a
currently supported version of Ubuntu?
Please let us know if you do otherwise this bug report can be left to
expire in approximately 60 days time.
Thank you for helping make Ubuntu better.

Bug description:
Binary package hint: thunderbird
I use Thunderbird 2.0.0.19 in intrepid.
I often have the following problem when I start thunderbird the first time
after
boot. When I open a mail and click on delete
the mail is moved to the trash but the mail window stays open.
I then have to restart thunderbird. After that a mail is moved to trash
and the mail windows is closed when I click on delete in the mail window.
