Opened Apps don't appear in dock

Bug description:
As described above. E.g. I've opened GIMP which isn't appearing in the
dock (see screenshot). If I click on Activities I can see my opened
apps. Maybe the dock crashed because of switching between portrait and
landscape mode (see other opened bugreports).
