  No day-view available

Status in gnome-calendar package in Ubuntu:
  Triaged

Bug description:
  As described above.From other calendars I am used to the fact that
  there is also a day view. Unfortunately, this is not currently
  available for the Gnome calendar. Especially if you have a lot of
  appointments on one day or maybe different calendars are displayed,
  the overview of the week will quickly get confusing.
