Title:
Duplexer is not to disable for HP OfficejetPro 8000
Status in system-config-printer package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
On using
SystemSettings -> Printer -> HP OfficejetPro 8000 -> properties ->
installable options -> Duplexer -> uncheck the checkbox
takes no effect, even after confirming appliing the changes with the
appropriate button and pressing o.K
The printer is still using hte Duplexer.
I have not tested if a logout/login or newstart of the system makes
the change working. It should also work within a desktop
session.(Printing 2 page etticets should not be).
Steps to reproduce:
1. Have a HP OfficejetPro 8000 known to the Ubuntu system with installed
Duplexer
2.SystemSettings -> Printer -> HP OfficejetPro 8000 -> properties ->
installable options -> Duplexer -> uncheck the checkbox
3.Apply the changes
4.Use o.K button
5.Start a print with at minimum 2 pages.
6.See that the Duplexer is still working, even you have disabled it in step2
