Thank for your bug report but that issue was not a file manager one.
It's also old and without duplicate so closing, feel free to open a new
report if you still have problems in current versions though

Title:
After user switch it's impossible to login, must reboot PC

Status in nautilus package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  I am running Ubuntu 13.04 x64. I recently added a 2nd monitor to my
PC. I also have 3 accounts on my PC, and I regularly switch between
  them.

  What happens:

Once I added the 2nd monitor, I started having this problem: I am in
one account, I go to the account switch options (on the top right,
"Lock/Switch account") and select a new account. What happens next is
that the screen flashes and shows me the desktop for the new account,
but it does not prompt me to log in, the "Enter your password" window
is nowhere to be seen, all I see is the desktop for the new account. I
can move the mouse around, but nothing I click responds, and the
keyboard is non responsive either. It happens on a daily basis, and
the only option I have is to force reboot the machine, there is no way
out once I get into this state.

  What I expect to happen:

  When I switch accounts:
     * I should be prompted the password for the new account I want to log in
     * the desktop for the new account should not flash (this is a privacy
issue) - even when things work and I get the prompt for the new account, I also
get a flash of the desktop before the "Enter your password" window appears

I have an i7-3770K with the integrated graphics card, no dedicated
video card. And, as mentioned, this only started happening once I
  added the 2nd monitor.
