Title: Screen orientation is locked if external monitor is connected Status in gnome-shell package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: As described above. I'm using a Thinpad X1 Yoga. Normally the screen orientation changes when I rotate the device or operate it in tent mode, for example. Unfortunately, this does not work if an external monitor (via HDMI) is connected to the device. In this case the screen orientation is fixed, so that e.g. a change into the tent mode is no longer possible. It would be nice if the screen would still change its orientation despite the attached external screen.
