Title:
gnome-sound-properties does not play all sound effects

Status in gnome-control-center package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Tested on:
  gnome-control-center 1:2.26.0-0ubuntu2
  ubuntu 9.04 jaunty beta 32 & 64-bit
Hardware: nforce2 & SiS AC'97 (not hardware specific)

  Description:
gnome-sound-properties plays plays only certain sound effects.

  Steps to reproduce:
-On Jaunty go to System > Preferences > Sound (spawns
/usr/bin/gnome-sound-properties)
  -Go to the "Sounds" tab
-Check all three boxes to Play all Aler and Effect sounds
-Press the play button next to each one

  What happens?:
The following sounds do not play, even if you customize them:
  -Window maximized
  -Window unmaximized
  -Window minimized
  -New e-mail *
  -Empty Trash
  -Long action
  -Battery warning *

  * These just don't seem to have a sound assigned to them by default.

  What is expected?:
All should should be playable (and have a default sample)
