Title:
Randomly Nautilus does not allow any keyboard input
Status in nautilus package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
This has happened to me now for the second time, that I have been
using Nautilus quite happily to rename stuff, search for stuff, etc,
and then suddenly I am not able to input any information into it from
my keyboard, I am unable to rename files, or search for things because
that requires me to be able to give it keyboard input. I can unable to
run any keyboard shortcuts or anything. And restarting Nautilus does
not fix the problem, so I find that I have to restart my entire my
machine, and then things go back to normal. But this will just happen
out of the blue, nothing special before hand, but will just suddenly
occur.
