re #2: as noted by Alexander, this is standard behaviour for GTK3 apps
(note that chromium behaves differently though, as you seem to be
expecting)
re #3: do you have a HiDPI screen? Can you please file a separate bug
report? Tracking several unrelated bugs in one place is inefficient.

Bug description:
I want to report 3 bugs related to Firefox browser in Ubuntu Mate
18.04 and 18.10:
1- The scrollbar width is so small. And I do not know how to increase
it.
2- When I click in empty scrollbar in firefox, the bar goes directly
to the place instead of goes down screen by screen.
3- the scale display in firefox and in the whole Ubuntu Mate is so
bad. all sentences are so small. Could you make the scale display and
firefox work like in Kubuntu because in Kubuntu the firefox and scale
display work great.
