everything is in the title: I'm running Thunderbird 3.0.4 on Lucid
updated April 20, kernel 2.6.32-21
this happened in 2 cases
1- Edition > properties (this is an approximate translation of the French
version !)
I get a "preferences" window
3rd tab "redaction" in French, could be "writting" in English
basic language is English, but when I click on "download other dictionaries",
nothing happens

2- also with : tools > extra modules > catalogue
when i click on "browse for extra modules", nothing happens

Even though
I initiated : System > preferences > preferred applications > to: Firefox
and Thunderbird
and in config editor : network.protocol-handler.app.http > to:
/usr/lib/firefox-3.6.3/firefox
