Title:
Running gnome-control-center does not return to "All Settings" when an
instance is already running with a selected component

Status in gnome-control-center package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
When gnome-control-center is running with a submodule selected, such
as "Displays", running it again (either through the console or
through the "System Settings" menu) results in the search bar showing
on top of the window, while the focus remains on the submodule,
instead of returning to the expected "All Settings".

  Steps to reproduce:
  1. Select "System Settings" or run gnome-control-center
  2. Select e.g. Displays
  3. Select "System Settings" or run gnome-control-center again while
"Displays" is still open.

  4. The search bar appears on the top bar of the window while
  "Displays" option is still shown.

  Expected behavior:

  4. The "System Settings" window gains focus and is returned to the
"All Settings" state, or the "System Settings" window gains focus
while the search bar does not appear, as it is not relevant to the
  content shown.

There are other types of problems that appear under the same
conditions for several other submodules that will be reported
  separately.
