changed quite a lot since, closing, feel free to register new bugs if
you have issues in newer versions though

  1. Open gnome-control-center in a terminal
  2. Go to Keyboard > Keyboard Settings
  3. Click on "Reset to Defaults"
  4. The following error messages appear:
