The decoration indicating a note exists is still present suggesting the feature has not been intentionally dropped. Further examination shows that emblems have also disappeared (this appears to be intentional http://ubuntuguide.net/add-emblems-to- nautilus-files-folders-in-ubuntu-12-04-11-10 and is no great loss). I would expect the notes tabs to be present in the properties dialog or some other obvious way to read already existing notes (and preferably be able to edit them). $ lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 12.04 LTS Release: 12.04 $ dpkg -l nautilus ii nautilus 1:3.4.1-0ubuntu1 file manager and graphical shell for GNOME To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/nautilus/+bug/993878/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : desktop-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
