Title:
  Nautilus ignores keystrokes when I don't type slowly.

Status in nautilus package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  What I'm doing:

    1) Type part of a filename.
    2) Press Enter.

  What I expect to happen:

    The file should open.

  What actually happens:

    The file does not open.

  Workaround:

    1) Type part of a filename.
    2) Wait a moment.
    3) Press Enter.

  I've attached a screencast of the problem happening.
