Thank you for your bug report, it's still not clear from the video what your issue is exactly. Is the issue that the keyboard layout indicator is missing (which is probably https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome- shell/merge_requests/187)?
Also you reported that bug against the pdf viewer evince, that seems wrong.
