time ago and there have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time.
Your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates.

Ubuntu 13.10 (saucy) reached end-of-life on July 17, 2014.

It would help us a lot if you could test on a currently supported Ubuntu
version. When you test it and it is still an issue, kindly upload the
updated logs by running only once in a terminal:

apport-collect 1374808

and then change the status of the bug back to "New".

Please add any additional information that you think might be relevant
to enable us to possibly reproduce the issue. Alternatively, please
confirm that this is no longer a problem and that we can close the bug
report. If we do not hear from you this bug report will expire in
approximately 60 days time.

Title:
  Copying speed is decreased

Status in nautilus package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  When I copy something on my usb disk drive the speed keeps getting
  slower and slower.From 25 mb/sec to 3 mb/sec...I am using Ubuntu
  13.10...What is happening?
