The issue seems resolved in the current version, when deleting some
content from /dev/shm nautilus only propose to directly delete the item
without using the trash

  Even root cannot empty trash on /dev/shm via Nautilus

  Fix Released

Bug description:
  Scenario:  10.04 on i7 up to date

  Preproblem:
  nonroot user creates files on /dev/shm and later deletes them via Nautilus. 

  Problem:
  Neither nonroot nor root can successfully Go Trash in Nautilus.
        Popup: "The folder could not be displayed. Sorry could not display all 
the contents of "Trash". Operation not supported.

  Circumvention:
  From the command line, can "sudo rm -r /dev/shm/.Trash-0"  in order to free 
up the space.
