Title:
Problem when copy files between sambashare
Status in nautilus package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
I've have mounted samba share's on Ubuntu 14.04 using lib pam_mount.
My file /etc/security/pam_mount.conf.xml has the content:
<volume user="*" uid="1000-100000" server="dk" path="homes"
mountpoint="/media/pessoal/%(USER)/%(USER)" fstype="cifs"
options="dir_mode=0711,iocharset=utf8" />
<volume user="*" uid="1000-100000" server="dk" path="ctic"
mountpoint="/media/pessoal/%(USER)/ctic" fstype="cifs" options="iocharset=utf8"
/>
My file /etc/samba/smb.conf has the content:
[homes]
comment = Home Directories
browseable = no
writeable = yes
force create mode = 0700
force directory mode = 0700
create mask = 0700
directory mask = 0700
force user = %U
[ctic]
write list = @sj-ctic
path = /grupos/ctic/
force directory mode = 770
force group = sj-ctic
force user = %U
force create mode = 770
valid users = @sj-ctic
create mode = 770
directory mode = 770
When I copied a file or a folder from a computer to samba share's
using the Nautilus, the permissions aren't modified.
Example: When I copied a file from a computer or a share, the new
permissions aren't apply. Copy a file of computer with permission 644
to samba share homes the permission continue 644 and not 700 as it
should be.
