Title:
Firefox is using too much RAM and some sites get jerky and slow.
Status in firefox package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
During using firefox browser(espacially when browsing facebook), the
browser consumes too much of system resources(RAM and CPU) and overall
system gets slow and scrolling in firefox gets jerky.
I'm using Downthemall, dwonthemall anticontainer and video download
helper addons. I have tried to solve this problem by disabling addons
but it was of no help. I have also disabled Hardware acceleration.
I'm using a Laptop with Corei3 CPU and 4GB RAM and Ubuntu 13.10.
