That issue existed still in xenial but it works fine now in the current
version, closing

Bug description:
I view files in Nautilus as icons. I select "show hidden files". Then
I switch to viewing files as a list. "Show hidden files" has now been
unchecked.
I have Ubuntu 15.04 with latest updates. I noticed this bug a few
days ago, I don't know how long it has been there, can't be more than
a few weeks or I would have noticed.
