Title:
  My entire system is running extremely choppy.  Links don't immediately
  open, and I have to wait a second or so to see words that I typed.

Bug description:
  Pages don't scroll properly which makes it very difficult to cut and
  paste.  I can type a complete sentence and won't see it right away.
  Everything is running sluggish and choppy.  Very frustrating.
