Title:
Opening multiple .jpg files from nautilus results in multiple
  instances of Image-viewer

Status in nautilus package in Ubuntu:
  Triaged

Bug description:
In case multiple images, say n *.jpg images, are selected in nautilus and
then opened with Image-viewer:
  - 16.04 opens one instance of eog to view the selected images (=Image-viewer
app)
  - 18.04 opens n instances of eog, one for each image. This is not correct, it
should behave like in 16.04.
I tried behavior of opening muliple files from nautilus with another app.
In 18.04 opening multiple .avi files with the vlc app, only one vlc
instance was opened (like in 16.04)
