Title:
Dot number filenames sort order is counter-intuitive
Status in nautilus package in Ubuntu:
Triaged
Bug description:
Easier to show:
I created some files on the terminal:
for i in {000..010..5};do touch $i $i.5;done
ls -1
000
000.5
005
005.5
010
010.5
On Nautilus:
000
000.5
005.5
005
010
010.5
See:
000 comes before 000.5
005 comes after 005.5 (happens from 0*01 to 0*09, I don't know why)
010 comes before 010.5
