Title:
New Folder with Selection freezes, crashes nautilus

Status in nautilus package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Ubuntu 16.04.1, Files 3.14.3

When selecting "many" files in Nautilus and selecting "New Folder with
Selection" from the context menu, nautilus freezes and then crashes
(closes) after a while, with the folder created and some of the files
  in the folder.

This seems to happen deterministically given enough files. I get a crash with
400 files which are together 6gb.
As this happens on the same file system, this should be an instantaneous
operation: "mkdir X", "mv ... X".
