I have this problem too (or something very much like it). I have
recently upgraded to 11.10 and am using banshee version 2.3.2 installed
via the ppa.

The problem may be linked to syncing or auto syncing to a mass storage
device. When I run without my ear-pod attached it doesn't crash.
However, I ran it (without the debug flag but with my ear-pod attached)
and got this:

xxx@xxx~$ banshee
