If I create a gnome-terminal window and add a second tab, the window will shrink by one line each time I switch tabs. This seems to be theme related, since it happens with Yaru but not with Adwaita. Some aspects of my configuration that seem to be relevant: 1. Using yaru-theme-gtk version 19.04 2. Under the org.gnome.desktop.interface gsettings schema, I have scaling-factor set to 1 and text-scaling-factor set to 1.5 This may lead to some widgets size being dictated by the text height where they might be governed by min-height otherwise. I suspect that the height notebook tabs are changing when changing from selected to unselected state, and gnome-terminal then tries to resize the window to align to the terminal character grid.
