To be able to use the trackpoint I need to disable the libinput acceleration with the following: $ xinput --set-prop 'TPPS/2 IBM TrackPoint' 'libinput Accel Profile Enabled' 0, 1 Without doing this I get an extremely erratic pointer. Setting the acceleration profile to flat in the tweak tool doesn't fix it either.
