Hello Ken, or anyone else affected, Accepted xdg-desktop-portal-gtk into bionic-proposed. The package will build now and be available at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xdg- desktop-portal-gtk/1.0.2-0ubuntu1.1 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository.
