It's passing the portal ID (so many IDs in slightly different
formats...) to gnome-software which is why it's failing. Needs to be
converted inside gnome-control-center.

Using 1:3.32.0.1-1ubuntu3 in disco
- install the vlc snap
- go to the settings -> applications view
- select vlc and use the menu in the headerbar to see the application details
It calls gnome-software, but then displays a page about vlc_vlc not
being found, it looks like the ID used in invalid
