Title:
Nautilus file transfer hangs while transferring TO a share
Status in nautilus package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
Similar bugs seem to be reported but none seem to match since 2012.
If I choose files on a local machine and paste them to a location on a
server (smb, mounted via fstab/cifs), nautilus will transfer
approximately half the files then stop. I am using wifi. Cannot
cancel job. However; if I open another file manager, and cut and
pasteremaining files from there (smacefm, dolphin), the file transfer
dialog in nautilus will end appropriately.
I have had this issue since 13.04 on all my machines with different
architectures. It remains unresolved in 14.04.
