Title:
  Flash drives refuse to open in Nautilus after a while

Status in nautilus package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  I'm on Ubuntu 16.04, stable install. I'm trying to open USB flash
  drives and they are at first showing up as before on the Unitylauncher
  and a Nautilus window open automatically with the drives content. If I
  unmount the drive (eject it) and tries to mount another drive (or the
  same) the flash drive for the most part starting with an open Nautilus
  window again. If I unmount and tries to mount another drive again and
  again then after a while it failes and no Nautilus window is showing.
  It can work a few times but not for a particularly long time. The
  drive is mounted though but Nautilus failes to open it. And Nautilus
  on the launcher is not working either, if I click on 'Files', thus
  Nautilus in Unitylauncher, it is of course also failing. Open a
  terminal and running the command 'nautilus' gives this output:

  "(nautilus:9292): GLib-GIO-CRITICAL **:
  g_dbus_interface_skeleton_unexport: assertion
  'interface_->priv->connections != NULL' failed

  (nautilus:9292): GLib-GIO-CRITICAL **: g_dbus_interface_skeleton_unexport:
assertion 'interface_->priv->connections != NULL' failed
  Kunde inte registrera programmet: Tidsgränsen uppnåddes

  (nautilus:9292): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_icon_theme_get_for_screen:
  assertion 'GDK_IS_SCREEN (screen)' failed

  (nautilus:9292): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: invalid (NULL) pointer
  instance

  (nautilus:9292): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_signal_connect_object:
  assertion 'G_TYPE_CHECK_INSTANCE (instance)' failed"

  NOTE: "Kunde inte registrera programmet: Tidsgränsen uppnåddes" above
  means: "Could not register the application: Timeout was reached".

  If I kill Nautilus, and relaunch it then Nautilus is appearing again
  and it works for a while. It's thus for now difficult to work with
  flashdrives, after some time I must kill Nautilus and that is
  inconvenient. I can say that it can work for a longer time if I
  unmount the drives from within Nautilus not from the device-icon in
  the Unitylauncher, but through my testing I see that evidently it
  failes even then after a while. So, if someone could help.

  Thanks in advance!
