First off, apologies there are lots of components this could be from, I
don't know which one.
If I click on a link in the Slack snap, nothing happens to open that
link. In the background, from what I can tell, a loop of `systemd
--user`, calling `xdg-open`, calling `kde-open5` occurs. This keeps
going. Each time I click on a link a new loop starts up and my CPU fan
starts getting louder :)
`xdg-desktop-portal` and `xdg-desktop-portal-kde` are also hanging
around but without restarting, unlike the other processes which are new
ones each time. I did have a `kde-open5` crash yesterday which is
probably related, but at the time I didn't know what had caused it.
If I `pkill kde-open5`, then all loops stop running.
Strace of `xdg-desktop-portal`, which is using a constant ~6% CPU gives a
rapidly repeating version of the below (not useful I bet):
