*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 1822838 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1822838
Your workaround sounds like that of bug 1822478, and the symptoms sound like that of bug 1822838. I think those may be the same bug. But until that's confirmed, let's group this with bug 1822838. ** This bug has been marked a duplicate of bug 1822838 [nvidia] gnome-shell is very large -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to mutter in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1822610 Title: Scaling not persisted across reboots on Disco Status in mutter package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: Using Xorg with Nvidia-412 drivers on 19.04. When running and apt upgrade (inc the Nvidia driver), something seems to have updated that's overwriting the Gnome settings scale option. I want this to be at 100%, but it keeps going back to around 200% everytime I reboot. When I check back in Gnome Setting to see the resolution, 100% is selected, so I have to click 200% and then 100%, at which point it looks normal again.
