alsamixer Master Front volume keeps zeroing
Status in totem package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
Binary package hint: totem
To get sound I push the "Master Front" slider of alsamixer to maximum
in a terminal session. But within a week it will be zeroed again. I
expect a volume setting to stay put until I change it.
