no prompt when copy files from usb disk to Desktop

Bug description:
I use ubuntu18.04, today I copy some big files from usb disk to
Desktop, there are no progress bar pop to tell me the copy progress,
only a small prompt from the icon of nautilus, then I close nautilus
and wait, the prompt from the icon disappear but the copy progress is
still the halfway.
I guess the newest nautilus still have this problem. gnome cut off a
lot of useful thing include the progress bar when copying files.
I suggest pop the progress bar when copy files.
