totem-video-thumbnailer crashed with SIGSEGV in g_slice_alloc()

Bug description:
When I open a folder with some video files, the Totem thumbnailer crashes and
only a part of the thumbnails are created.
The strange thing is that the video files are all of the same type.
For example I have a folder with 10 video files of this type:
- container: Matroska (mkv)
- video encoder: H.264
- audio encoder: AC-3 (ATSC A/52)
and the totem thumbnailer creates only 4 thumbnails, and for the other files
there is the default icon.
Previously I had Ubuntu 12.04 installed, and the Totem thumbnailer worked
very well with these same video files and all the others.
