Thanks... 1. You are using "oibaf-ppa" which is unsupported and known to cause bugs. Please remove that PPA before proceeding any further. You can instal 'ppa-purge' to remove such PPAs.
2. After removing the PPA please run this command: dpkg -l > allpackages.txt and send us the resulting file 'allpackages.txt'. 3. Your desktop layout sounds very complicated, which may explain a lot. Are you willing to share a screenshot of it with all those icons? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gnome-shell in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1828775 Title: [amdgpu] High memory consumption Status in gnome-shell package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: High memory consumption ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 19.04 Package: gnome-shell 3.32.0+git20190410-1ubuntu1 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 5.0.0-13.14-generic 5.0.6 Uname: Linux 5.0.0-13-generic x86_64 ApportVersion: 2.20.10-0ubuntu27 Architecture: amd64 CurrentDesktop: ubuntu:GNOME Date: Mon May 13 09:47:53 2019 DisplayManager: gdm3 ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/gnome-shell GsettingsChanges: b'org.gnome.shell' b'app-picker-view' b'uint32 1' b'org.gnome.shell' b'favorite-apps' redacted by apport b'org.gnome.desktop.interface' b'gtk-im-module' b"'gtk-im-context-simple'" InstallationDate: Installed on 2019-01-10 (122 days ago) InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS "Bionic Beaver" - Release amd64 (20180725) SourcePackage: gnome-shell UpgradeStatus: Upgraded to disco on 2019-04-25 (17 days ago) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/1828775/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
