Title:
[upstream] The Filter: dropdown in the File Open menu doesn't work
Status in libreoffice package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Status in libreoffice package in Fedora:
Fix Released
Bug description:
When you try to open a file, the Filter dropdown is not usable. All the
different options turn into one single string and are not separately
selectable. Because of this bug, you can't use the filter dropdown on the Open
dialog. This means you can't open a
tab-delimited file with extension .txt as a spreadsheet, because if you use
the open dialog without using the Filter dropdown, it always opens as a text
file.
This bug has already been fixed upstream and a backport of the fix
should be made in order for people to be able to open tab-delimited
txt files.
