  gvfsd-mtp hoovers up all memory

Bug description:
  When I run a Win7 Virtual Machine and attach my smartphone via USB (to
  run Samsung Smart Switch on the VM) gvfsd-mtp sucks up all of my
  16G(!) of RAM and the system becomes unresponsive.

  This same workflow worked without issue in 14.04 LTS.
