Your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates.

It would help us a lot if you could test on a currently supported Ubuntu
version. When you test it and it is still an issue, kindly upload the
updated logs by running only once in a terminal:

apport-collect 1704110

and then change the status of the bug back to "New".

Title:
  Totem Movie Player skips last n seconds of music

Status in totem package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  I play this IT music file. It has good ending, in this player i don't
  hear it: i hear only cropped sound and last seconds don't play. On
  Win32 I played it in ModPlug and it was ok.

  Ubuntu 16.04.02 LTS x64.
