Title:
dock obstructs desktop icons when in auto-hide mode
Status in gnome-shell-extension-ubuntu-dock package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
When not in auto-hide mode, icons are shifted out of the way of the
dock. This does not happen when the dock is in auto-hide mode meaning
that when there is no window to cause it to hide, the icons at the
edge of the desktop are obscured. These icons are commonly Home, Trash
and various volumes.
Either the icons should be autplaced out of the way of the dock, or
the dock should be able to be made to auto-hide always (my preferred
solution) as well as only when a window would be obstructed.
