SEveral panel applets on both top and right panels. Workspace switcher and text
output applets raise error dialog on GUI session start. MATE.
This does not happen to all text output applets and not always the same
ones. But the workspace switcher (set to 3x3 table) has become
consistent in the last few days.
The journal has the following error
The program 'wnck-applet' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the
program.
The error was 'RenderBadPicture
(invalid Picture parameter)'.
(Details: serial 4910 error_code 143
request_code 139 (RENDER) minor_code 7)
(Note to programmers: normally, X
errors are reported asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error
a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with
the GDK_SYNCHRONIZE environment
variable to change this behavior.
You can then get a meaningful
backtrace from your debugger if you
break on the gdk_x_error() function.)
