@Michael, please keep advertisement for your OS out of launchpad The right place to fix that bug would be to work with upstream on a proper solution. The suggested change has been review by GNOME upstream on https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=777538 and they found issues with it.
