Title:
sane backends library at the wrong place?
Status in sane-backends package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
Hi,
I tried to install the epson wf-2630 network scanner. I have installed
the software from the epson website.
After installing and setting up the sane /etc/sane.d/dll.conf for
epkowa, simple-scan and xsane worked, but not iscan.
Tried many different things, I have finally find out that the libary-
data for epkowa was not in /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/sane but in
/usr/lib/sane. Note that the only data in /usr/lib/sane is:
libsane-epkowa.la libsane-epkowa.so.1 libsane-epkowa.so.1.0.15
After copying these files from /usr/lib/sane to
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/sane everything worked fine.
I do not know if it is a bug or not.
Best regards
