Thanks for confirming! This suggests that not only does it freeze on hidden files, but also normal files. It should be fixed soon.

I attempted to restore the file, but Nautilus freezes. It should give me the "Replace file with newer version" dialog so I can decide if I want to replace the old file with the new one, or if I want to rename the trashed hidden file to another name. It shouldn't freeze. However, the freeze only happens if the old file is in the trash, the new file is located in the original directory, and both files have same names.
