Bug description:
1) lsb_release -rd
Description: Ubuntu 12.04 LTS
Release: 12.04
2) apt-cache policy libreoffice-calc
libreoffice-calc:
Installed: 1:3.5.2-2ubuntu1
Candidate: 1:3.5.3-0ubuntu1
Version table:
1:3.5.3-0ubuntu1 0

3) What is expected to happen in Calc via the Terminal:
cd ~/Desktop && wget
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libreoffice/+bug/153150/+attachment/3142909/+files/example.ods
&& localc --nologo example.ods
is when one highlights the merged cells A1-A5 -> use the mouse to grab
the bottom right corner of the cells -> drag it to cell A10, cells
A6-10 are merged, and the number increments to 2 in A10. Just as it
does in Excel 2010. A screenshot of how it should look in Calc:
https://launchpadlibrarian.net/12607059/autoFillExpected.png .
4) What happens instead is cells A6-A10 are not merged, and each cell
has a number incremented.
