This actually turned out to be an issue in the Debian package as well,
which will be fixed in the 6.3.0 release later this week.

I'll keep this bug open though to track the lack of OpenCL support in
the snap.

  1. Enable OpenCL in settings
  2. Click "Apply"
  3. Choose "restart now" in the restart prompt

  Symptoms
  --------
  LibreOffice crash prompt appears and terminates with exit status 79.  After 
restarting it the OpenCL option remains untoggled.
