Steps to reproduce: 1) Right-Click on a cell -> Format Cells -> Numbers -> Category -> Date -> Choose format 31/12/1999 2) Enter into that cell my wedding day: September 2, 2005: 2/9/2005 What is displayed? February 9, 2005: the day of a car bombing. What is expected to be displayed? September 2, 2005: my wedding day.
