Title:
dispatcher does not handle vpn-connections correctly
Status in network-manager-openvpn package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
Binary package hint: network-manager-openvpn
A script in /etc/NetworkManager/dispatcher.d/ get wrong information
for a vpn-connection (tun0):
pre-up:
seems not to exist
up:
tun0 vpn-up (maybe this is ok)
down:
seems not to exist
post-down:
eth0 vpn-down (what is totaly wrong)
I noticed it by checking the tun0 interface with "ifconfig tun0" on
vpn-down
I think it would be better not to use vpn-up/-down because it irritate and I
think with interface name tun/tap it is clear enought.
So id should be like this:
tun0 pre-up
tun0 up
tun0 down
tun0 post-down
