Math does not run from the main LibreOffice Launcher window. Math does not appear in the Menus (Kubuntu 10.10) Expected behavior: As soon as you click on insert formula a box opens at the bottom of the screen to insert and or edit your formula. Thanks for the suggestion. Here is what I did to I removed the .libreoffice profile. I completely uninstalled libreoffice using synaptic package manager. I verified the profile was gone. I reinstalled LO 3.5 All bugs were the same. No changes/improvement. I reinstalled LO 3.5 after completely removing the profile folder. ./.libreoffice. No new profile appeared after trying to run LO. Therefore I cannot send it to you. All is well. Thanks to all of you for your help. Once the old profile ( /.config/LibreOffice ) was deleted, I reinstalled from the 3.5 DEBS and it worked well. The fact that the new profile crashes with an old profile still ought to be a bug. But I will leave that to the experts. Thanks again.
